CXBox is distributed under the free Apache 2.0. The source code is open and posted on Github.


The IDEA plugin is provided in addition to CXBox.

How to start
CXBox
Before you start, you should set up a list of dependencies..

Clone repository
git clone git@github.com:CX-Box/cxbox-demo.git

Install dependencies and build back-end and front-end
mvn clean install -PUI

Start environment
docker-compose up

Run application
press green button ▶️ in Application.java
System Requirements
To build an application based on the CX.Box, you need a personal computer with the following recommended configuration:
  • multi-core modern Intel or AMD processor with a frequency of at least 1800 MHz;
  • 8 Gb of RAM required;
  • Hard disk space of at least 10 GB (SSD recommended);
  • a screen resolution of at least 1920 x 1080 pixels;
  • keyboard, mouse;
  • Monitor with a screen diagonal of at least 19 inches;
  • the latest 64-bit version of Windows, macOS, or Linux;
  • Internet connection (for connecting repositories and installing necessary dependencies).
